My Story

I’m Meg, an Associate Registered Nutritionist (ANutr) here in the UK.

Ten years ago, I completed my undergraduate degree in English and Sports Science (BA) at Loughborough University. I then went on to work in physical activity and health promotion roles at Loughborough University, Redbridge Culture & Leisure and London School of Economics. It was during this time (specifically whilst working in my first public health role, delivering child and adult weight management programmes) that I realised my passion for nutrition and wellbeing. It was my dream to be able to support and educate individuals on how to change their lives for the better, through food and nutrition.

Skipping forwards a few years, in 2020 I took a career break to complete my MSc in Nutrition and Public Health Management at Sheffield Hallam University, where I gained a first class (hons) and my Associate Nutritionist status (ANutr). Following this, I worked as a Family Nutritionist in the public health sector in Birmingham, supporting children and parents to adopt healthy relationships with food, their bodies and the food environment. After a few years, I decided to start my own practice and that is when Nutrition with Meg was born.

My approach

In today’s word, I understand how personal, social and environmental pressures are difficult to navigate when it comes to nutrition and health. Conflicting ‘nutrition advice’, day to day life stressors, and constant noise from the dieting industry can all become too much. So if you're sick of being on and off diets that never work, I'm here to help you heal your relationship with food and show you that there IS an alternative way.

Whether you're looking to lose weight, increase your energy levels, or broaden your knowledge of a healthy diet, my nutrition services are tailored to your needs so that you can reach your goals. I offer professional health advice that is realistic, understandable and evidence-based through 1-1 nutrition consultations, nutrition workshops and courses.

I’m excited to have you here!
